Who can use YAXI?

​

Youth aged between 12 – 25 years old.

Groups of 10 or more people.

At least 50% need to live in the Ballina shire.

How does YAXI work?

​

We either use one of our driver's and buses from The Community Transport Company or we hire a driver and a bus from one of our local reputable bus companies.

The size of the bus depends on the group.

You will have your own private bus for the journey.

You choose the times & the pick up/drop off locations.

Driver supervises on the bus only.

Buses have wheelchair access availability.

YAXI is a safe and convenient way to travel.

Parent’s are welcome.

All buses are drug and alcohol free.

Do's and Don'ts?

​

YAXI is a Drug and Alcohol free service. We won’t go to any venue or event that serves alcohol.

If passengers are intoxicated we won’t let them travel on the bus.

Obviously anyone that threatens other passengers or the driver will not be allowed to travel on the bus.

Any uncool behaviour will result in the person being dropped off at the nearest police station.

The driver only provides supervision on the bus. Once you are off you need to be responsible for yourself.
